North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Endorses House Bill 370 – Require Cooperation with

Today, the NC Sheriffs’ Association announced that they would endorse Representative Hall’s bill H370 (Require Cooperation with ICE Detainers)

Representative Hall commented publicly on Twitter regarding the matter.

I’m pleased that the NC Sheriffs’ Assoc. is supporting the updated version of H370, which would require Sheriffs to cooperate with ICE and would require compliance with ICE detainers for those charged with a crime in our state. #ncpol— Destin Hall (@DestinHall) June 12, 2019
